Mother's Day BookmarkMaterials: Construction paper 1. Fold the construction paper into four using the fan style of folding as your guide. This will give you perfect lines for your bookmark. One sheet of construction 2. Cut the construction paper along the four folds. 3. Place two of the cut pieces of construction paper one on top of the other and glue. This will make your bookmark much thicker. 4. Once glued, have your parent help you paint a green stem and leaves for your flower on the bookmark leaving a small space at the bottom to write something special for Mom. 5. Once the stem has dried, using the pink, red or yellow paint, stick your thumb into the paint and in a circular motion place your thumb print around the top of the stem to build your flower petals. Don’t forget to re-dip your thumb to make sure there is enough paint for each of the flower petals. 6. Sprinkle with glitter and let dry. 7. Using the hole punch, place a hole at the top of the bookmark and string the yarn through the top and tie it into a pretty bow. 8. At the very bottom of the bookmark write Mom a very special message.
