The time and the season is here for all witches and little goblins to come out and play. If you like to make gift baskets or are in the gift basket making business, then Halloween season is the perfect time to create baskets with creative themes that will sell like hotcakes or make a guest of friend feel the cheer of the holiday. Super Hero Theme: What super hero is big this year? If you want to be up to date on what's popular, take a cue from the latest movies in the theater this summer. Characters from Transformers, GI Joe, X-Men and Batman were all popular this year. Ideas for basket fillers include comic books, Pez characters, action figures, DVDs, movie theater tickets, and theater size candies and treats.

Old Fashioned Monsters: Not a Halloween goes by that Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, and the Mad Scientist do not appear. Harvest Theme: For those people who entertain harvest festivals instead of Halloween trick or treating, a basket with the cornucopia theme and/or bible characters will fit the bill. A basket filled with decorative fall gourds, mini-pumpkins, and dried decorative corn would make a nice table centerpiece. For families celebrating with children for harvest festivals, fresh fall fruit such as red delicious apples, oranges, caramels, and candied apples scattered with prepackaged candies would make a creative basket that anyone would love.

Treats and accessories for baskets can be found on sale, wholesale, and even in the dollar store. It just takes a little effort and you too can create masterpieces you can be proud of. Gift basket ideas for Halloween are infinite. All its is a sharp mind and a decorators touch to create sellable edible art that will not only satisfy the customer but your wallet as well if you are in sales mode.
