Materials:
Cardboard egg carton
Red & black paint
Two googly eyes
1 Black pipe cleaner
Glue

Tools:
Scissors
Paintbrush

Steps:
1. Using the scissors cut the top off of the egg carton and save it to use on another project.

2. Cut down the center of the egg carton to create two individual egg carton rows.

3. Cut one of the egg carton sections off of the row. This will be your Ladybug's body.

4. Using the red paint and paintbrush, paint your Ladybug body.

5. Using black paint after the body is dry, paint small black dots all over her body.

6. Cut the black pipe cleaner into two 1 inch pieces and secure to the front top of your Ladybug for her antennas.

7. Glue on googly eyes.

Wow, is she cute! This would be a eally cute ornament for your Christmas tree. Also, here is some trivia for you...the Ladybug is the state insect in Ohio.
